A part of me wonders,
What would’ve happened if I didn’t wake up one day, in the summer of 2016, and decide that I wanted to learn how to draw? What if I was still believe in the notion that a creative spirit simply wasn’t in me? Would I still be working in front of a computer in a windowless room for 8 hours a day?
It’s heartwarming to look back and see all of the dots connect throughout this 7-year-long, and counting, journey. And despite this new perspective triggering various identity crises within the realm of: Who am I? and What do I want out of life? I’ve regained a sense of wonder that I didn’t know I had lost.
To those of you who have recently discovered a spark of creativity, know that it’ll be one of the most challenging, exhilarating, and eye-opening journeys you’ll go on. It truly is one hell of a trip, and I sincerely hope that you find comfort knowing that someone out there is cheering you on throughout your adventure.
